Philosophy Made Slightly Less Difficult, ch. 1

Moreland and DeWeese's book starts out by laying a foundation for Philosophy. The answer to the questions "where do I start?" is answered by an brief introduction to logic and method. They weave in this book and chapter a Christian approach and analysis which is helpful as a pastor. One particular statement typifies what the book is trying to accomplish saying, "Because theology must always keep one eye on apologetic issues of the time, philosophical awareness will always be a requirement for doing theology." Having had little logic training, I am thankful for the treatment they gave to the subject, but I realize that I am going to need to spend more time in this discipline.
