Becoming Conversant with the Emerging Church, ch. 7

This chapter exemplifies what makes D.A. Carson such an amazing theologian. He rightly brings Scripture to the discussion. In this chapter, Carson asks great questions of the movement and asks for some serious changes. I agree with his assessment and found it to be refreshing and eye-opening. In particular, his ask for the emergent church to understand that the gospel is necessarily tied to truth claims is essential to the conversation.
