Becoming Conversant with the Emerging Church, ch. 6

This chapter really gets to what is most dangerous about the emerging movement. When propositional truth is gambled away, it leaves leaders like McLaren to not emphasize essential truth of Scripture, like the cross. Carson critiques two books and challenges the sloppiness of theology in leaders in the movement. As a reformed person, I was appalled to find out TULIP was handled! I am thankful for thinkers like Carson to rightly divide the words of these leaders.
