Christ and Culture Revisited, ch. 6

Carson spends this last chapter making his way through various approaches to Christ and Culture that have been promoted. I found this to be very helpful in shaping a right way of approaching Christ and Culture. Carson ends his book saying, "we will live in the tension of claiming every square inch for King Jesus, even while we know full well that the consummation is not yet, that we walk by faith and not by sight, and that the weapons with which we fight are not the weapons of the world (2 Cor. 10:4). What seems to be a fairly abrupt ending lends itself to the tension that exists in Christ and Culture.
