Truth & The New Kind of Christian, Introduction and Ch. 1

The introduction did not offer any new information beyond what I have already read (particularly in Carson's book on the same subject), but it was a helpful thesis statement for the rest of the book.

Marching through a history of thought to show the source from which the river postmodern runs, Smith diagrams out (both literarily and graphically) leading up to the fact-value dichotomy offered by Kant. He does an excellent job of articulating the 'linguistic turn' which was helpful for understanding where we are today. I appreciated this chapter very much.
