Christianity with Power, ch. 7

This was a helpful chapter in dealing with worldviews. I did not realize just how small the American Scientism was until reading this. I liked that he showed how other areas of the world value the Spiritual. I assumed everyone had a similar view as Americans (even if it was wrong). I do see churches approach problems and goals with 'mechanisms' or programs to manipulate circumstances. While this is not totally wrong, it can lead us away from Spirit dependence.
