Engaging Mind and Culture

I am eager to begin this new journey as I start my doctorate of ministry at Biola University's Talbot School of Theology. I will be doing the "Engaging Mind and Culture" track under the guidance of Dr. J.P. Moreland and Dr. Garry DeWeese.

In my syllabus, I am asked to keep a log of reflections on my readings. I thought it appropriate to do this on the internet to expose my thoughts for others to read, should they wish. So, this blog will feature short restatements of each chapter I read followed by a longer reflection on the content of the book and how it will impact my ministry (I am a youth pastor at a church in the SW suburbs of Chicago).

And so, with that said, I begin with Dr. Moreland's 'Kingdom Triangle'.
